No pool, no listing.
stayswithpool is a filter, not a search engine. The big booking platforms list everything; we list only the stays that clear a specific bar. Here it is in full, with today's numbers.

Three things must be true.
How a pool gets verified
What we check, and where.
- Find the official facilities list. The property's own listing is the source. If the pool only appears in a photo or a slogan, that doesn't count.
- Record the facts that matter. Private or shared, heated, indoor, infinity edge, year-round or seasonal. Temperature, months, size and hours go in only when the source states them. Unknown stays blank: we never guess.
- Match the booking links. Every Booking.com, Expedia or Vrbo link is checked against the same property before it's saved. If we can't match it, the link isn't shown.
- Date-stamp it. The check date goes on the stay card and the stay page: "Pool verified · checked 16 Oct 2026".

Re-check cadence
Every month, every stay.
Pools close for refurbishment, heating gets switched off, ratings drift. So the whole list is re-checked monthly: the pool facts against the facilities list, the score and review count against Booking.com.

- Collections are re-checked on the same cycle, and show their own "updated" date.
What gets a stay cut
The deal-breakers.
- No pool we can confirm. A plunge tub, a paddling pool or a pool that only exists in photos doesn't count.
- A score under 8.0. If a listed stay drops below, it comes off at the next check.
- Fewer than 50 reviews. A 9.8 from twelve guests isn't evidence yet.
- Pool facts that stop matching. If the pool closes or the details change, we update the stay or remove it.
- A booking link we can't match to the exact property.
- Money. No property can pay to be listed or to move up a list.

You book direct, at the platform's price
Every stay links straight to Booking.com, Expedia, Vrbo and the other platforms where it's listed. You pay their price, with no markup and no fees from this site. Some links earn a commission from the platform, at no cost to you: that's how the site stays free. The commission never influences which stays make the list: the bar above does. Details in the affiliate disclosure.
What you won't find here
No live prices: they change hourly, so check the platform for today's rate. No paid placement. No stays listed "because they're close to qualifying". Here's the thing: a wrong recommendation costs your trust, and trust is the entire product.
