Cookies and similar storage

The short version: stayswithpool sets no advertising or tracking cookies of its own. One optional partner, Stay22, measures which booking links you follow, and it only runs if you say yes.

Necessary (always on)

These live in your browser's local storage, on your device only, and are never sent to us.

swp-saved: the stays you save with the heart icon.
swp-consent: your cookie choice and the date you made it.

Analytics (cookie-free)

We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and does not identify you or follow you across sites, so it needs no consent.

Affiliate measurement (optional)

If you accept, we load a script from Stay22, our affiliate partner. When you click through to a booking site such as Booking.com, Expedia or Vrbo, Stay22 attributes that visit to us so we may earn a small commission, at no extra cost to you. To do this it uses your browser's local and session storage and a device identifier. If you reject, the links work exactly the same, we just don't get credited.

Booking sites you visit from here set their own cookies under their own policies, once you are on their pages.

Changing your mind

Use the button at the top of this page or the "Cookie settings" link in the footer at any time. Withdrawing consent reloads the page without the Stay22 script.
